What has changed in v0.4 ?
(April 5, 2013)
  • Added Arduino support in Programmer menu.
  • Added support for packages that are not installed directly into /bin (e.g., CrossPack).
  • Added 57600 baud rate in terminal emulator.
AVR Tools is now signed with my Apple Developer ID. There is no longer the need to keep Mountain Lion's Gatekeeper completely open.

It is now sufficient to instruct the Security and Privacy preference panel in Mountain Lion to allow "identified developers" instead of having to allow applications from "anywhere."

What has changed in v0.3 ?
(April 12, 2009)

  • The bits menu, parity menu and the stop bits menu in the Terminal window were not wired; AVR Tools was using a fixed 8-N-1 setting. This is now fixed.

  • An untitled Session window is now opened if the AVR Tools is not started from a previous Sessions file.
